The service level of Tallinn Airport is still among the best in Europe
In August, the Q2 results of the ACI ASQ passenger survey were released, which gives the airport a chance to look back and get feedback on the work done during the spring season. The Q2 survey period lasted from the end of April until the beginning of June, and 350 passengers were surveyed during this period.
In overall passenger satisfaction, Tallinn Airport still holds 4th place at the European level with the Q2 score of 4.58 (change +0.02 points). A total of 87 European airports participated in the ASQ survey in the second quarter.
According to passengers, the biggest change compared to Q1 was related to the extended check-in queues (-0.26 points). Still, the extended queues have not left significant traces on the satisfaction with the check-in service, or the general satisfaction with the airport. The somewhat lower than expected results of the security check in Q1 have picked up again in Q2 and satisfaction with the security control service has returned to its usual very high level. Also, satisfaction with the commercial services has improved in Q2.
Although, the overall travel security of passengers decreased by 5% in the Q2, more than 86% were still satisfied with the safety measures introduced at Tallinn Airport. According to passengers, Tallinn Airport is also one of the cleanest passenger terminals in all of Europe (4.63).
ACI or the Airports Council International is an international association of airports. ACI represents the interests and viewpoints of airports and issues recommendations to ensure a common safety and security standard at the airports.
